Welcome to the Faculty of Social Sciences of Comilla University
The faculty of Social Sciences fosters critical thinking on diverse social phenomenon and generate creative expression on various socio-cultural problems. Our faculty includes five departments: anthropology, archaeology, economics, mass communication and journalism and public administration. The departments offer undergraduate programs along with post graduate studies.
These fields of studies offer students with the capacity to grapple with important challenges facing our society and support to outline their thinking about responses to demanding social issues at a local, national and international level. Our graduates truly gain an interdisciplinary education which play an appropriate role in their future endeavors to meet the urgency of the contemporary world. Our researchers carry out research on most complex social & cultural, economic, history & traditions, communication & mass media, gender, health & development and political issues of our times. These impactful research advances our understanding of culture, society and the world around us.
