Mr. Sohrab Hossain is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law at Comilla University. He completed LL.B. (Hons.) in 2013 and LL.M. in 2014 with the highest CGPA from the Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh, and achieved the Chancellor Gold Medal, Prime Minister Gold Medal, and Best Law Student Award for his excellent academic results.

Mr. Hossain, from the very beginning of his student life he had a keen interest in the research and teaching field. During his student life, he has prepared himself to act in this field. He has given more emphasis on academic courses and results. To learn the legal education in a better way, he has completed various workshops financed by the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) of the World Bank through the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. He has written several research Articles on contemporary issues in Bangladesh, which have been published in peer-reviewed journals. Being so, he would like to contribute to legal education for the welfare of society and the country as a whole to serve his citizenry liability.

His areas of research include Constitutional Law, Personal Law, Consumer Rights Law, Labour Law, Law of the Sea, Company Law, and Business Law.
