Dr. Mohammed Belal Uddin, FCMA is a Professor (Grade -2) of Accounting at Comilla University’s Accounting and Information Systems Department. He holds a Ph.D. from Xiamen University, Fujian Province, China. He has completed Graduation and Master Degree from the Department of Accounting & Information Systems, University of Dhaka. He is a qualified ‘Cost and Management Accountant (CMA)’ of The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB).

 

Professor Uddin has around 20 years of teaching and research experience. He has been a faculty member at Comilla University since May 2007. He was promoted to Professor in 2018. He started his academic career in 2006 as a Lecturer at the Patuakhali Science & Technology University, Dumki, Patuakhali. He also served as a “Social Fellow” at the Social Islami Bank PLC for the period of September 2000 to October 2002.

 

Professor Uddin has more than 10 years of administrative experience. His administrative activities include Head, Department of Accounting and Information Systems, Comilla University, Academic Council member, Head of the Self-Assessment Committee, Director (MBA Executive Program), Coordinator of the Accounting Sports Club, Head and member of different examination committees, etc.

 

He has published 38 research articles in the national and international reputed journals. His 18 articles have been published by the international reputed journals. He also performed editorial and reviewing duties in different reputed national and international journals.
