Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin is a esteemed Professor in the Department of Public Administration at Comilla University, Bangladesh from June, 2025. With a robust academic career spanning over fourteen years, Dr. Amin has significantly contributed to the fields of public administration and governance.

Dr. Amin holds a PhD in E-governance Scenario on Local Government system in Bangladesh from Islamic University, where his dissertation focused on the intricacies of e-governance implementation in developing countries, with a particular emphasis on Bangladesh. His research interests are diverse, encompassing e-governance, public policy analysis, local government administration, and public sector innovation.

Throughout his career, Dr. Amin has published numerous articles in reputable national and international journals. His work often explores the intersection of technology and public administration, shedding light on how digital tools can enhance public service delivery and citizen engagement. One of his notable studies includes an in-depth analysis of Union Digital Centers (UDCs) and their role in decentralizing e-services in rural Bangladesh. In addition to his research, Dr. Amin is actively involved in various academic and professional organizations. He has presented his findings at several conferences worldwide, earning recognition for his insightful contributions to public administration theory and practice. Dr. Amin is also committed to mentoring the next generation of public administrators, guiding numerous students through their academic and research endeavors.
