As a faculty member in the Economics Department at Comilla University, my research interests primarily lie in the fields of econometrics, international trade, and macroeconomics. I have a particular focus on time series analysis within econometrics, where I explore statistical models to understand economic phenomena over time. This research aims to enhance the predictive power of economic forecasts and better understand the dynamic relationships between various macroeconomic variables.
In the realm of international trade, I am interested in studying the economic effects of global trade policies, international market structures, and the determinants of trade flows between countries. My research aims to provide insights into how trade agreements, tariffs, and globalization influence national economies, with particular emphasis on developing economies such as Bangladesh.
Additionally, I have a keen interest in macroeconomics, especially in the areas of economic growth, inflation, unemployment, and fiscal policy. I seek to understand how macroeconomic policies can be designed to stimulate growth, stabilize inflation, and reduce unemployment in both developed and developing countries.
Overall, my research aims to bridge theoretical economics with empirical analysis to provide practical insights into how economic systems function, and how policy interventions can enhance economic stability and growth. I am committed to contributing to the academic literature and collaborating with fellow researchers to address contemporary economic challenges.
