Dr. Kazi Omar Siddiqi was born on 1st July 1982 in Cumilla, Bangladesh. He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2006. After that, he proceeded to his Master of Science in International Business from Buckinghamshire New University, United Kingdom, in 2010 and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Management) from Putra Business School, University Putra Malaysia in 2023. Now, he is an associate professor in the Department of Management Studies, Comilla University, Bangladesh. Siddiqi is interested in research and development activities, especially in human resource management and marketing.

Siddiqi has published several research papers in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) Indexed journals. Siddiqi had the honour of being chosen as the best presenter at the International Trade Academic Research Conference in Wembley, London, in 2010, and at the research colloquium (Pure) series 6, which took place on March 15, 2023, in Malaysia. Siddiqi has served as a Journal Reviewer for Research in Globalization (Elsevier, September 2023), Cogent Psychology (Taylor & Francis, December 2024), Scientific Reports (Nature, November 2025), Journal of Nursing Management (Wiley, December 2025), and Journal of Social Sciences & Humanities Open (Elsevier, December 2025), demonstrating Siddiqi’s aptitude for critical analysis. As of December 15, 2025, the number of citations for Siddiqi’s articles in Google Scholar amounted to 1144.
