Md. Bulbul Ahmed is a dedicated faculty member in the Department of English at Comilla University. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Rajshahi University in 2020 and 2021, respectively. Before joining Comilla University, he served as a lecturer in the Department of English at Ahsania Mission University of Science and Technology, Rajshahi, from September 2023 to January 2025. During his tenure there, he was also given the additional charge of DSW (Director of Student Welfare) for more than a year.
As an admirer of poetry, he enjoys writing poems in his leisure time. His translated works, along with his own creative writings and poems, have been published in various magazines in Bangladesh. His research interests include Poetry, Postcolonial Studies, Diaspora, Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o, Ecocriticism, and South Asian Literature in English.
Recently, he has also been entrusted with the additional responsibility of House Tutor of Bijoy-24 Hall at Comilla University.
