Dr. Md. Rashidul Islam Sheikh (Rocky) is currently serving as a Professor, Department of Public Administration, Comilla University, Cumilla, Bangladesh-3506. He received the B.S.S (Hon's) degree and M.S.S in Public Administration from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2002 and 2003 respectively. Mr. Sheikh did his M. Phil in Public Administration (Local Government) from the same University in April, 2012, and awarded Ph.D. Degree from Graduate School of Public Administration (GSPA), National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), Bangkok, Thailand-10240 in July 2021. He is also the contributor of a good number of research papers in different national and international reputed journals and wrote three books. His area of interest is local government, gender development, budgetary politics, quality education.
