Mr. Tofael started his career with the Department of Accounting & Information Systems of Comilla University as a Lecturer on 1st December 2008. Now, he is serving as a Professor.  His research interests include accounting for sustainable development, corporate governance, earnings management, corporate financial reporting, accounting policy choice, intellectual capital, risk management, ESG, investment efficiency, systematic review, meta analysis, and bibliometric analysis. He has published in such scholarly journals as International Journal of Accounting and Information Management, International Journal of Law and Management, Journal of Economics, Finance and Administrative Science, International Journal of Economics and Business Research, Cogent Business & Management, Asian Economic and Financial Review, International Journal of Business and Technopreneurship, and International Review of Management and Marketing. His teaching interest includes financial accounting, management accounting, cost accounting, corporate governance, business statistics, business mathematics, operations research, research methodology, taxation, microeconomics, macroeconomics, etc. He has expert knowledge on research software such as SPSS, SmartPLS, AMOS, Stata, R, Eviews, EndNote, and Mendeley.
