Md. Abdullah Bin Samad is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Comilla University, Bangladesh. Prior to joining Comilla University, he served as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer in the Department of Textile Engineering at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), Mirpur-2, Dhaka. He completed both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry at the University of Dhaka, where he developed a strong interest in chemical research, higher education, and scientific innovation. His research interests encompass  Redox Flow Batteries, nanomaterials, quantum dots, solar energy, environmental pollution, and renewable energy, with a particular focus on developing advanced materials and sustainable approaches to address contemporary environmental and energy-related challenges. His research activities explore the synthesis, characterization, and potential applications of functional nanomaterials for energy conversion, environmental remediation, and other emerging technological applications.  Alongside his research activities, he is deeply committed to teaching and mentoring students. He strives to create an engaging learning environment that encourages students to think critically, explore scientific concepts, and develop a deeper appreciation for Chemistry and its applications in everyday life.
