Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam is now working as a Professor in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems of Comilla University. He has achieved his PhD from the Universiti Sains Malayisa. He has obtained BBA (Hon’s) and MBA from the Department of Accounting and Information Systems of Rajshahi University, and MPhil from the Islamic University. He has been achieved Shaheed Suhrawardy Hall Gold Medal - 2003 for outstanding academic achievement in BBA (Hon’s), Agrani Bank Gold Medal - 2004 for outstanding academic achievement in MBA (1st merit position in the Faculty of Business Studies), and included on the Dean’s Merit List of the Semester for earning GPA 4.0 (out of 4.0) at the second semester of MBA. His areas of research interest are corporate governance, corporate taxation, firm performance etc.
