Currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Archaeology, Comilla University, Bangladesh. He earned his Honors and Master’s degrees from the Department of Archaeology at Jahangirnagar University, respectively, securing third and fourth positions in his class. Professor Chowdhury's research focuses on conserving archaeological heritage and the folk culture of Bangladesh, including the ethnic communities of the hill tracts and plain lands. He has actively contributed to various projects funded by the University Grants Commission under Comilla University. His primary research interests encompass Archaeological Conservation and Preservation, Folklore, Ethnology, and Ethnoarchaeology.
