Dr. Md. Khalilur Rahman is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Physics at Comilla University since May 7, 2026. He joined the Department of Physics at Comilla University as a Lecturer on December 2, 2014. He was promoted to Assistant Professor on January 23, 2016, Associate Professor on October 26, 2021, and subsequently to Professor on May 7, 2026.

Prior to joining Comilla University, Dr. Rahman worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Natural Science (Physics) at Stamford University Bangladesh from March 2013 to November 2014. Earlier, he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Arts and Sciences (Physics) at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology from March 2010 to September 2010.

Dr. Rahman also worked as a researcher in CMOS fabrication process technology at CEA-LETI, MINATEC, France, during 2012–2013. His academic and research interests include semiconductor device fabrication, CMOS process technology, and applied physics research
