Dr. Mahmudul Hasan, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Comilla University, Bangladesh, with over 15 years of teaching and research experience. He holds a Ph.D. from Saitama University, Japan, supported by the MEXT Scholarship, and completed his undergraduate and master's degrees from the University of Rajshahi, graduating with top distinction in both. He has served as Head of the CSE Department and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Comilla University.
His research interests include computer vision, deep learning, LiDAR-based sensing, human-robot interaction, speech signal processing, and natural language processing, with publications in journals such as Results in Engineering, IEEE Access, Sensors, Soft Computing, Neurocomputing, etc. A Senior Member of IEEE, he is actively involved in academic and professional communities, including IEEE Bangladesh Section and ACM-ICPC coaching.
