The Faculty of Science at Comilla University stands as a vibrant hub of academic excellence, research innovation, and scientific exploration. Its journey commenced on May 28th, 2007, with the establishment of the Department of Mathematics. Over time, it has been expanded to include the department of Physics, Chemistry, Statistics and Pharmacy, broadening the array of offerings within the faculty.
Since its inception, the Faculty of Science has offered a comprehensive educational portfolio, including a four-year Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Sc./B.Pharm) and a one-year regular Master of Science/Master of Pharmacy (M.S./M.Pharm) program. In alignment with the requirements of the Bangladesh National Qualifications Framework (BNQF) and international accreditation aspirations, the Faculty of Science has undergone a curriculum transformation, adopting the Outcome-Based Curriculum (OBE) structure.

Our esteemed faculty members are regularly recognized with the Vice-Chancellor's award for their contributions through research articles published in high-impact journals.
To foster a profound understanding of complex global challenges and opportunities, the Faculty of Science conducts a wide range of events, including seminars, research talks, hands-on training, and various programs designed to facilitate real-world scientific experiences. Furthermore, the faculty publishes an annual journal titled "The Comilla University Journal of Science." This peer-reviewed journal undergoes a rigorous blind review process and is committed to disseminate original research works, innovative ideas, as well as critical, conceptual, and analytical discussions that contribute to the expansion of the frontiers of knowledge in the scientific realm.
