Md. Joni Alam obtained the undergraduate degree and postgraduate degree from Jahangirnagar University in the discipline of Mathematics with high academic records securing the first class first merit position. His incumbent position is a Lecturer of Mathematics at Comilla University, Kotbari, Cumilla, Bangladesh. Since then he was working as a Lecturer in Mathematics at IUBAT for three years. He nurtures a keen interest in developing his research activities in the field of applied mathematics. His filed of research interest is finite difference, fluid dynamics and numerical simulation. He attended three international mathematical conferences and presented research papers. He also published four research articles in international journals. He was awarded NST fellowship under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, for his thesis work. He was born on July 18, 1991. He is from Kaliganj, Satkhira, Bangladesh.
