I am Sangita Basak, born and bought-up in Tangail, working as Assistant Professor in Comilla University. I have completed my graduation and post-graduation from the department of Management Studies, Comilla University and currently working in the same department. Before joining this University, I have served 2 private universities, Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB), Dhaka and Britannia University (BU), Comilla.

My passion as a teacher comes from my parents who have invested 30 years of their life in teaching. From a young age I have always tried to learn new things through different co-curricular and extra-curricular activities in school, college and university. I scored the highest CGPA in the Business Faculty in my university and achieved ‘Prime Minister Gold Medal- 2015’, Dean’s Award (Master’s Degree) and Dean’s Award (Bachelor Degree), Faculty of Business Studies, Comilla University.

I am self-motivated, able to adapt any organizational environment, diligent and ready to give my best effort to achieve my goals. I want to be an educationalist and researcher through my academic knowledge and excellence where I can utilize my learning, interpersonal skill, analytical ability and adaptability for further development of society and overall, for my country. Recently, I have enrolled as a PhD Fellow (Management), at Putra Business School (PBS), University Putra Malaysia. My research interest areas are General Management, Entrepreneurship, Communication, Organizational Culture, Organizational behaviour, Leadership, Work-Life Balance etc.
