Mr. Tofael started his career with the Department of Accounting & Information Systems of Comilla University as a Lecturer in 1st December, 2008. Now, he is serving as an Associate Professor. Currently, He is pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (Accounting) at Putra Business School, University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. His research interests include corporate governance, earnings management, corporate financial reporting and disclosure, accounting policy choice, intellectual capital, firm risk, and firm performance. He has published in such scholarly journals as International Journal of Accounting and Information Management, International Journal of Law and Management, Journal of Economics, Finance and Administrative Science, International Journal of Economics and Business Research, Asian Economic and Financial Review, International Journal of Business and Technopreneurship, and International Review of Management and Marketing. His teaching interest includes financial accounting, management accounting, cost accounting, corporate governance, business statistics, business mathematics, operations research, research methodology, taxation, micro economics, macro economics etc. He has expert knowledge on research software such as SPSS, SmartPLS, AMOS, Stata, R, Eviews, EndNote, and Mendeley.
