Mr. Mohammad Safi Ullah is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Comilla University, Cumilla-3506, Bangladesh. He was born on November 29, 1985, in Chandanpur Village, Meghna Upazila, Cumilla District, Bangladesh. He obtained his B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics in 2008 with a CGPA of 3.58 (out of 4.00) and completed his M.Sc. (Thesis) in 2009 with a perfect CGPA of 4.00 from the Department of Mathematics, University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi-6205, Bangladesh. In recognition of his exceptional academic performance, he received a Gold Medal from Shah Makhdum Hall of the same university. He further earned an M.Phil. in Mathematical Physics from the University of Rajshahi in 2021.
Mr. Ullah began his academic career as a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at Comilla University on July 1, 2013. He was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2016 and has been serving as an Associate Professor since 2021. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he serves as an academic editor for two Scopus-indexed journals (Mathematical Problems in Engineering; Abstract and Applied Analysis), contributing significantly to international scholarly communication.
In 2025, he was recognized among the world’s top 2% of scientists, marking the first such achievement for Comilla University. He has also been honored with the Best Researcher Award from Comilla University for three consecutive years. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Rajshahi.
His research interests include optics, chaos analysis, neural networks, bifurcation analysis, stability and sensitivity analyses, soliton theory, mathematical physics, nonlinear dynamics, fractional and integral order PDEs, theoretical plasma physics, and applications in the telecommunication industry.
