Professor Dr Md Habibur Rahman (Pseudonym as Anton Habib) was born in the village Raninagar of Chapi Nawabganj District, Bangladesh. He obtained his Honour’s degree in English in 1992 and MA in English in 1993 from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh. He completed his MPhil in 2009 from Institute of Education and Research, Rajshahi University. He also did his PhD in 2019 from the same institute of Rajshahi University. Dr Rahman taught for more than a decade in a Degree College at Chapai Nawabganj and he joined as a lecturer in the Department of English at Comilla University in 2011. At present he has been teaching as Professor in the Department of English, Comilla University. Though a student of English literature, he has keen interest in Creative Writing, Folklore. Bangla literature, History and Philosophy. Dr Rahman authored a book Lokosangskritir Rupantor that was published in 2008 Book Fair, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Besides this, he has written many Research articles published in different Research Journals of the world.
Dr Rahman is fond of art, travelling and simplicity in life.
